The Community Services team consists of the Mallee Family Care Community Legal Centre, Financial Counselling Program, Specialist Homelessness Services, Tenancy Assistance and Advocacy Program, Gambling NSW and Disaster Response Programs.
The position of the Team Leader Specialist Homelessness Services was created to provide direct leadership to the Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS), Tenancy Assistance and Advocacy Program (TAAP) and Recovery Support Program within the Southern Mallee and any other future program/s . 

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A tertiary qualification relevant to the position at Degree level in the first instance, or may consider Diploma of Community Services with significant demonstrated leadership experience for the right candidate.
  • Experience in working with, and an understanding and sensitivity to the issues relevant to people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
  • Experience in human resource management, supervision and support of staff, and the capacity to manage workloads and resources.
  • A current driver’s licence and a willingness to travel and preparedness to be accommodated overnight when required.
